Review of "Cassidy" by Lori Wick

Cassidy is the first book in the Big Sky Dreams series by Lori Wick.

Cassidy Norton has established a good life for herself in Token Creek, Montana in 1880. She earns a good living as a seamstress and has a lot of wonderful friends in her church family.

Cassidy, however, has a hidden past that she has shared with no one except her best friend, Meg, and her pastor, Rylan Jarvik. Someone from her past appears suddenly, and begins to cause trouble for Cassidy and the townspeople. Cassidy is afraid that the townspeople will not forgive her when they find out the truth.

Cassidy also has two wonderful friends in Trace Holden, a local rancher, and Chandler Di Fiore, the banker. They both attend Cassidy's church, and both have a good friendship with her. When her past is revealed it threatens to destroy one friendship and puts another friend's life in jeopardy.

I liked this book by Lori Wick, although it seemed to take a while for the main plot of the story to unfold. It is not one of my favorites by her, but still had some good spiritual lessons woven into the story, as usual.
